At The Disco, Dawes, Vulfpeck, Mandy Moore, Andrew Bird, Jenny Lewis, and Madison Cunningham, Viola has developed an unmistakable gift for pairing indelible melodies with emotional honesty and raw energy. His music carries traces of the Beatles, Paul Simon, Big Star, and Black Sabbath, but the voice at its center is entirely his own.
